In the framework of the celebration of the 2024 World Food Safety Day (WFSD), the ECOWAS Commission and FAO will organize on June 7th, 2024, a regional webinar related to the theme of the year " Food safety: prepare for the unexpected ". This webinar aims to raise awareness among national and regional actors of the Regional Agricultural Policy (ECOWAP) on the challenges and importance of food safety for sustainable food systems.
This occasion of sharing will be an opportunity to show case good practices and lessons learned in food safety management in West Africa
